RCMP in Whitbourne are continuing to investigate a theft from a local retail store at the end of April and are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect.

On April 29, 2026, Whitbourne RCMP responded to a reported theft at a gas station on the Trans-Canada Highway in Whitbourne. An employee of the store provided video surveillance footage of the unknown man and the vehicle he used to leave the store.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the male suspect. He is described as a Caucasian male, with brown wavy hair and a full beard, seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, a pair of blue jeans, and a grey ball cap.

The vehicle is described as a light grey 4 door sedan, with a sunroof and large spoiler.
