UPDATED CLOTHING DESCRIPTION (May 10 at 3:30 p.m.): Papail is not believed to be wearing the black coat as previously indicated, he is believed to be wearing a green jacket.

ORINGAL NEWS RELEAS

Burin Peninsula RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 26-year-old Brandon Papail.

Papail was last seen on Saturday May 9 at about 3:00 p.m., when he departed a residence in the Fortune area on foot. Police and family are concerned for his safety and well-being.

Papail stands 6’ 1” tall and weighs approximately 120 lbs. He was last seen wearing a pair of dark red pants, a black poncho style coat, a black long sleeve shirt, and black toque as depicted in the attached photo.

Police are asking anyone with information about the current location of Brandon Papail to contact their local detachment or Burin Peninsula RCMP as soon as possible at 709-891-2569.
