UPDATE (May 14, 2026, 2:00 p.m.): The 40-year-old woman reported missing to Clarenville RCMP earlier today has been located deceased.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) has been engaged. To respect the privacy of the woman and her loved ones, her name and photos have been removed from the earlier post and no additional details will be shared at this time.

RCMP Newfoundland and Labrador extends its deepest condolences to the family, friends and community of the deceased.
