Police in Grand Falls-Windsor are investigating a series of thefts in late March and April from local businesses and are asking the public for assistance identifying an unknown male.
On March 23, 2026, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP responded to a reported theft from Dominion on Cromer Avenue. An employee of the store provided video surveillance footage of an unknown man leaving the store with product he did not pay for.
Video surveillance footage from a March 31 theft at a liquor store on Cromer Avenue showed the same unknown male suspect selecting approximately $70 worth of product before departing in a black pickup truck.
On April 28, officers responded to another report of theft at the Dominion involving the same suspect.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance identifying the man captured by surveillance cameras, described as a white, heavy-set and balding.
Photos of the man are attached.
If you know the identity of the man in the photo, or have information about any of these thefts, please contact Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP at 709-489-2121.
