UPDATE (July 1, 2026): Nain RCMP advises that Janice Ikkusek has been arrested. RCMP NL wishes to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Nain RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance locating 40-year-old Janice Kitty Ikkusek, who is the subject of active arrest warrants and is currently evading police.

She is wanted in relation to charges of assault and failure to comply with a each a release order (three counts) and a probation order.

A photo of Ikkusek is attached.
