Bonavista RCMP investigates theft of boat and trailer from Trinity

Bonavista RCMP is investigating the theft of a boat and trailer that occurred sometime during mid to late June in Trinity.

On July 1, Bonavista RCMP received the report. A white 17-foot Ocean Fisher pleasure craft boat – with HIN NL2597915 - and a galvanized boat trailer were stolen from a residential property in Trinity. It is believed that the theft occurred sometime between June 18 and July 1.

The boat’s motor is described as a 90 hp Yamaha outboard engine, blue and grey in colour. The vessel also had a blue and grey 8 hp Yamaha trolling motor attached. Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate TWC 093 was attached to the trailer.

The investigation is continuing.
