Harbour Grace RCMP arrests suspect in break and enter

Harbour Grace RCMP arrested a 33-year-old Stephenville woman Saturday evening after responding to a report of a break and enter at a commercial property in Carbonear.

At approximately 8:14 p.m. on July 11, Harbour Grace RCMP received a call reporting a break and enter at a commercial building on Columbus Drive in Carbonear. Police attended the scene, and observed a broken glass door and signs of entry inside.

A search of the building was conducted, and the suspect, April Eddison, 33, was located and arrested without incident.

She was returned to the Harbour Grace detachment and has been charged with breaking and entering with intent, mischief causing damage to property under $5,000 and failing to comply with conditions of an undertaking.

Eddison is expected to appear in court next on Tuesday (July 14).

The investigation is ongoing.
