Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP arrested a 38-year-old man in relation to an overnight break and enter on Monday. Kieran (Alex) Pardy faces ten Criminal Code charges, including armed robbery and assault.
Around 12:30 a.m. on July 21, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP and Labrador Police Dog Services responded to a report of a break and enter at a resident on Brett Street. When officers arrived, they learned that two masked individuals had entered the residence, armed with weapons, and assaulted one of the occupants. Both suspects fled the area after stealing items from inside the home.
With the assistance of the Labrador District General Investigation Section and Police Dog Services, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP identified one of the suspects as Kieran Alexander Pardy.
Pardy, 38, was located by police and taken into custody on July 23. He has been charged with:
- Breaking and entering with intent
- Robbery with other offensive weapon
- Assault with a weapon or imitation
- Failure to comply with a release order – two counts
- Failure to comply with a probation order – two counts
- Disguised with intent
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Mischief under $5,000
Pardy appeared in provincial court Friday and was remanded into custody. He is schedule to make his next appearance in September 2026.
