UPDATE (August 6, 2026) – Harbour Grace RCMP can confirm that the stolen Honda ATV was recovered by local residents Thursday, July 30, 2026. The criminal investigation into the theft remains ongoing, and additional charges are possible.
RCMP Newfoundland and Labrador thanks the public for the information shared with police and for their assistance locating and returning the stolen off-road vehicle to its rightful owner.

Harbour Grace RCMP arrested and charged a 21-year-old man for possessing a stolen off-road vehicle and failing to comply with his court order after police responded to a report about an all-terrain vehicle stolen earlier in the week.
On Wednesday, July 29, Harbour Grace RCMP received a report from a resident of Gull Island indicating that their all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had been stolen. The theft occurred during the overnight hours of Sunday July 26 into Monday July 27.
As a result of the investigation police identified 21-year-old Bradely Newman as having possession of the stolen vehicle. He was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and four counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Newman was held and appeared in Harbour Grace provincial court today (Thursday).
