Harbour Grace RCMP arrested and charged a 21-year-old man for possessing a stolen off-road vehicle and failing to comply with his court order after police responded to a report about an all-terrain vehicle stolen earlier in the week.

On Wednesday, July 29, Harbour Grace RCMP received a report from a resident of Gull Island indicating that their all-terrain vehicle (ATV) had been stolen. The theft occurred during the overnight hours of Sunday July 26 into Monday July 27.

As a result of the investigation police identified 21-year-old Bradely Newman as having possession of the stolen vehicle. He was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and four counts of failure to comply with a release order.

Newman was held and appeared in Harbour Grace provincial court today (Thursday).

Police continue to search for the stolen vehicle, a red 2025 Honda TRX420 with Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate # VJU140.
