Clarenville RCMP seeking public's assistance locating stolen vehicle

Clarenville RCMP is investigating a theft of a vehicle from this past weekend. Anyone with information about this crime, including the location of the stolen vehicle, is being asked to contact police.

Around 9:00 a.m. on August 3, Clarenville RCMP responded to a vehicle theft report. The theft occurred sometime between Saturday August 1 at 5:00 p.m. and the early morning hours of Monday August 3.

A sporty utility vehicle was stolen from alongside the Trans-Canada Highway near La Manche Siding, between Southern Harbour and Little Harbour East. The red 2018 Toyota Rav4 had Newfoundland and Labrador licence plate JPX800 attached.

Clarenville RCMP is asking anyone who sees this vehicle to report it immediately by calling 911.
