Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP investigating vehicle break and enters, seeking public’s assistance

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP is investigating a series of vehicle break-ins in the McCarthy Street area, and ask anyone with information or surveillance footage from the area to contact police as soon as possible. 

On Friday morning (August 21), police were called to a residence on McCarthy Street, after several vehicles were broken into outside. Items, including a wallet and credit card, were stolen from the cars overnight.

The investigation is ongoing. Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP asks anyone with surveillance, dash cam or doorbell camera footage captured between Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21 in the McCarthy Street, Ivany’s Road and Peddle Drive areas to contact the detachment as soon as possible.
