Clarenville RCMP arrested a 50-year-old man for breaching his court-imposed conditions after responding to a report of a possible prohibited driver on Wednesday.

Shortly after 12:00 p.m. on August 26, police responded to a call in Bloomfield regarding a vehicle that was being operated by a known prohibited driver. Officers located the driver, 50-year-old Darrin Hobbs, at his residence and charged him with failing to comply with a probation order and operation of a conveyance while prohibited

He was transported to a nearby RCMP detachment, and is expected to appear in court Thursday afternoon.
