Placentia-Whitbourne RCMP officers are investigating an act of vandalism at Whitbourne Elementary School, and ask anyone with information to contact police. 

On Friday, September 11, police received a report that the gate to the baseball field at Whitbourne Elementary School on Main Road had been extensively damaged. 

School employees reported that the act of vandalism had likely occurred between Tuesday, September 8 and the morning of September 11 when the damage was discovered.
