Yarmouth Country District RCMP investigates serious injury collision in Greenville

Yarmouth County District RCMP is investigating a serious injury collision that occurred in Greenville.

On July 12, at approximately 12:03 p.m., Yarmouth County District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a motorcycle crash at the intersection of Hardscratch Road and Greenville Road. RCMP officers learned that a motorcycle struck a pickup truck towing a boat.

The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male from Yarmouth County, suffered life-threating injuries and was transport to hospital by LifeFlight.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision; the investigation is ongoing.

The scene of the collision was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
