RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section is seeking information from the public in relation to a suspicious fire that occurred in Cole Harbour.
On November 17, at approximately 4:18 a.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment, EHS and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency (HRFE), responded to a structure fire in the 500 block of Caldwell Rd. Upon arrival, an unoccupied wooden structure was engulfed in flames.
Caldwell Rd. near Andrew Ave. was closed for a short time to allow HRFE to extinguish the fire which did not spread to nearby structures.
A Fire Investigator is currently on scene.
Anyone with information about the suspicious fire or dashcam footage of the area of Caldwell Rd and Andrew Ave / Millbrook Ave, Cole Harbour, between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on November 17, is asked to contact the RCMP/HRP Integrated General Investigative Section at 902-490-5020.
