Police seeking information after shots fired in North Preston

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is seeking information in relation to shots fired in North Preston.

On January 3, at approximately 2 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment and Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of shots fired on Clarence St. and Johnson Rd.

Officers learned that the occupants of two vehicles were shooting at each other.

There were no reports of injuries; however, it’s likely the vehicles involved were damaged.

The investigation, which is being led by the General Investigative Section of the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, with assistance from the RCMP Forensic Identification Section, is ongoing.
