Search warrant execution leads to firearm seizure by Street Crime Enforcement Unit

The Southwest Nova Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SWN SCEU) seized a firearm during a search warrant execution in Nictaux Falls.
On March 3, investigators executed a search warrant at a residence on Torbrook Rd. as part of an ongoing investigation. SWN SCEU led the search warrant execution, with support from Nova Scotia RCMP Critical Incident Program, including the Emergency Response Team.
During the search, officers seized a bolt-action rifle.
Four people were safely arrested at the residence. Amy Bishop, 38, of Nictaux Falls; David Bishop, 43, of Nictaux Falls; Stephen Pinder, 60, of St. Croix; and James Foster, 47, of Nictaux Falls, are each charged with several firearms offences, including Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm and Unsafe Storage of Firearm.
They were released on conditions pending a future court appearance scheduled for May at Annapolis Royal Provincial Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
