Meteghan RCMP Detachment is asking for public assistance in locating 79-year-old Malcolm Cromwell. He was seen on December 25, 2025, and reported missing on May 22.
Cromwell is described as 5-foot-8 and approximately 140 pounds. He has short brown hair and grey eyes. Investigators are also seeking to locate his vehicle, a grey 2008 Jeep Liberty with Nova Scotia licence plate HLZ307.
In December 2025, Cromwell told loved ones that he planned to travel out of Nova Scotia. He may have driven to Halifax to board a train, which is not out of character for him.
When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word respectfully.
