Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating the theft of firearms from a residence.
On May 19 at approximately 5:50 p.m., Cumberland County District RCMP received a report that three firearms had been stolen from a residence on Hwy. 204, Salem. The firearms were stored in a locked gun safe.
The missing firearms are:
- A .22 bolt-action rifle
- A Maverick 12-gauge pump-action shotgun
- A Marlin .35 Remington lever-action rifle
A pellet gun was also stolen.
Investigators have followed up on several investigative avenues and are seeking any information from the public.
