The Richmond County District RCMP continues to investigate the disappearance of Cody Duane MacDonald and is appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

MacDonald was last seen on February 29, 2024, at his father’s residence on Campbell Rd. in Grande Anse.

MacDonald was reported missing four days later.

Initially, it was believed the 29-year-old was wearing an orange survival suit at the time of his disappearance. However, investigators have since confirmed only limited clothing descriptors: a grey hat and green rubber boots.

Over the past 26 months, RCMP officers have continued to follow up on tips and are asking anyone with information about the hours or days leading up to MacDonald’s disappearance to contact Richmond County District RCMP at 902-535-2002. To remain anonymous, contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers, toll-free, at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submit a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca, or use the P3 Tips app.
