RCMP investigating shots fired in North Preston, appealing to public for information

The RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division is seeking information in relation to shots fired in North Preston.

On June 20, at approximately 4 p.m., RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment responded to a report of shots fired near Amos Walter Dr. and Downey Dr. in North Preston.   

Officers arrived on scene and located a number of shell casings on the road. 

There were no reports of injuries and no obvious property damage. 

The investigation, which is being led by the General Investigative Section of the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, is ongoing.
