Kings District RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred in Kingston.
On July 14, at approximately 3 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire services, and EHS responded to a report of a collision on Hwy. 101. Officers learned that a Kia Rio and a tractor trailer, both travelling westbound, had collided.
The driver of the Rio, a 75-year-old woman from Middleton, and the passenger, a 28-year-old man from Middleton, were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the truck, a 33-year-old man from Lawrencetown, Annapolis County, was treated at the scene by EHS.
Hwy. 101 was closed for several hours while an RCMP collision reconstructionist attended the location of the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
