Missing person: Help the RCMP find Sommer Langthorne

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Sommer Langthorne. 

She was last seen on August 20 at 2 p.m. on Wedgewood Ave. in Timberlea. 

Langthorne is described as 5-foot-7, 125 pounds.  She has green eyes and long hair dyed black with blue highlights. She was last seen wearing beige shorts, a pink top, and white shoes, and was carrying a blue-and-black backpack. 

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word respectfully.
