The remains located near Debert on July 22 have been positively identified as those of Thomas Joseph “Joe” MacGillivray, 40, who was reported missing from the Bible Hill area in February.
The Northeast Nova Major Crime Unit is continuing the investigation with the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service. The manner of death is still under investigation.
