Shelburne RCMP Detachment has charged two men with drug-related offences after a traffic stop in Reids Hill.
On August 30, at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Equinox travelling along Hwy. 3 as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Officers safely arrested the two occupants of the vehicle and seized quantities of cocaine, scales, cellular phones, and cash.
Arthur Douglas Thomas, 68, of Barrington, and Jahquan Stuart Downey-Thomas, 23, of Mississauga, Ontario, are each charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
The men appeared in Yarmouth Provincial Court on August 31.
