Meteghan RCMP has charged a man for criminal harassment following a complaint of unwanted contact.
On September 11, at approximately 3:15 p.m., the Meteghan RCMP Detachment received a complaint of repeated unwanted contact. Investigators learned a man contacted a woman by attending places, including her workplace, numerous times over a three-month period.
At approximately 9 p.m., officers located and arrested Eric David Thibault, 67, of Church Point. He has been charged with Criminal Harassment (two counts) and Failure to Comply with Order.
Thibault has been remanded into custody pending a court appearance on September 17 in Digby Provincial Court.
