Wanted woman located

On May 20, 2026, the Iqaluit RCMP requested the public’s assistance in finding a woman wanted on a Nunavut wide arrest warrant. 

On May 22, 2026, police located Gaisa Toonoo (age 26) and executed the arrest warrant.

The Iqaluit RCMP Detachment thanks the public and the media for their assistance.
