The Arviat RCMP is seeking the public's assistance as officers investigate multiple incidents of tire slashing

Since April 16, 2026, police have investigated six different incidents, involving twelve vehicles. The damage is estimated to be above $20,000.00. 

Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact the Arviat RCMP at 867-857-0123. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). 

The Arviat RCMP want to remind the public that if you are witnessing an active crime or need emergency support, you are asked to call the emergency line at 867-857-1111.
