Correction to original post: The modular units that were damaged belong to the Gjoa Haven Housing association and are future homes for community members. There are other units belonging to the future Victims of Violence Housing project, but those were not damaged.

Gjoa Haven RCMP are investigating a series of break ins after multiple modular housing units stored on the north side of the community along Seal Street were damaged. The units are future homes for the community. 

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who has any information regarding those responsible to contact Gjoa Haven RCMP at 867-360-1111. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
