Yellowknife RCMP respond to structure fire

On March 27th at approximately 2:31 p.m. Yellowknife RCMP received a report of a structure fire at the Sunridge Apartments.

Officers attended the scene and provided traffic control while Yellowknife Fire Department conducted operations.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

There is no indication of criminality based on the initial information available to police however the Office of the Fire Marshal has been contacted and is the agency responsible for investigating the cause of fires.

Victim Services was on scene and provided assistance to affected residents.
