Police operation ongoing in Fort Smith

Fort Smith RCMP are currently engaged in an operation near the community of Fort Smith to bring an individual into custody.

Additional police resources, including the Emergency Response Team have been deployed to the community, and members of the public may have noticed this increased police presence.

There is no risk to public at this time. Further details will be provided in an update when available.
