Prince District Joint Forces Operations executed a search warrant in Summerside leading to the arrest two men, and the seizure of drugs and weapons.
In the morning of Thursday, February 20, 2025, PEI Joint Forces Operations executed a search warrant at a residence in Summerside. In the course of this operation, police arrested a 50- year-old Summerside man, a 36-year-old Summerside man and seized the following:
• Cash
• 249 grams of cocaine – approximately ½ pound
• 920 grams of crystal meth – just over 2 pounds
• 438 Ice/speed pills
• 874 Hydromorphone pills
• 58 unidentified pills
• Scales, baggies, replica handgun
PEI Joint Forces Operations includes RCMP from Prince District, PEI RCMP General Investigative Services, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
