A stop for speeding and driving while suspended resulted in multiple arrests.

Around 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, Kings District RCMP stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 2 in Rollo Bay West. During the stop, police determined the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. A second vehicle arrived to assist the driver.

Police interactions with this second vehicle resulted in that driver being arrested for impaired driving, and a passenger arrested for possession of illegal drugs.

As a result of this second stop, police seized more than 52 grams of cocaine, a scale and measuring devices, along with other drug paraphernalia. A 30-year-old Kings County man has been charged under the Controlled Drugs Substances Act with Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking and will appear in court at a later date. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
