RCMP arrest six impaired drivers over the weekend

Prince Edward Island RCMP arrested six drivers for impaired driving over the weekend in separate incidents across the province.
On July 24, 2026, at approximately 8:24 p.m., Stratford RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision in the parking lot of a local business. A 35-year-old man was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol. He later provided breath samples that were more than twice the legal limit.
On July 25, 2026, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Queens District RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle driving on its rim in Warren Grove. Officers located and stopped the vehicle, and the driver was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol. The 26-year-old man later provided breath samples that were more than twice the legal limit.
Later that evening, at approximately 7:12 p.m., Prince District RCMP responded to a report of an erratic driver in Victoria. A 32-year-old man was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol.
On July 26, 2026, at approximately 12:55 a.m., a Queens District RCMP officer stopped a vehicle for speeding in Ten Mile House. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old man for impaired operation by alcohol.
On July 26, 2026, at approximately 11:18 p.m., Queens District RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision in Rustico involving an SUV that had struck a guardrail. The 46-year-old driver was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol.
On July 27, 2026, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Queens District RCMP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in North Milton. The 43-year-old driver was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol.
No one was seriously injured in any of these incidents. All accused individuals are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
