Over the weekend, RCMP officers arrested four impaired drivers in separate incidents across Prince Edward Island.
Stratford, August 14, 2026, 11:29 p.m.
Stratford RCMP received a report of a vehicle driving erratically. Police located the vehicle and arrested the 18-year-old driver for impaired operation by alcohol.
Union Road, August 15, 2026, 3:23 a.m.
Queens District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle crash on Union Road. A male youth was arrested at the scene for impaired operation by alcohol. The driver provided breath samples that were more than two-and-a-half times the legal limit. He suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. No other vehicles or individuals were involved.
Albion, August 15, 2026, 7:09 p.m.
Kings District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash in Albion. The lone occupant, a 46-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was arrested for impaired driving by alcohol.
Bonshaw, August 16, 2026, 1:09 a.m.
Queens District RCMP responded to a single-vehicle crash in Bonshaw. An 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries and was arrested for impaired operation by alcohol. He provided breath samples that were twice the legal limit.
