JFO arrest 4 and seize drugs in Summerside.

On August 24th, 2026, Prince County JFO (Joint Forces Operations) with the assistance of Provincial JET and Summerside Police Service, executed a drug search warrant at a residence in Summerside. Inside the residence police arrested 4 individuals for possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking. A search of the residence yielded approximately 130 grams of cocaine, cash, a replica firearm, and other drug paraphernalia. 

The Prince District JFO Drug Unit is comprised of members of the Prince District RCMP, Summerside Police Services, and Kensington Police Services. It focuses on drug activity in Prince County. "The Joint Forces Operations Unit remains steadfast in its commitment to disrupting the drug trade and protecting our communities throughout Prince County," said Chief Jason Blacquiere of the Summerside Police Service. "This seizure and the arrests made are the result of strong partnerships between the Summerside Police Service, RCMP, Kensington Police Service, and Provincial JET.”
