On August 27, 2025, as a result of continued investigation by the Saskatchewan RCMP Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team, a third individual appearing on the online video has been arrested in Prince Albert, SK.
21-year-old Harbaaz Singh from Prince Albert, SK, has been charged with:
- one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm, Section 91(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code.
The Saskatchewan RCMP Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team continues to investigate.

Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team: two charged after investigation into online video

On August 8, 2025, Saskatchewan RCMP received several reports of an online video that depicted a group of individuals holding firearms.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team began an investigation, which determined a group of males were in a rural area in the RM of Duck Lake. Some of the individuals were handling firearms, including while in a vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
As a result of continued investigation, on August 12, the Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team arrested an adult male in Prince Albert.
23-year-old Arshdeep Cheema from Prince Albert is charged with:
- one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm, Section 91(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code.
An adult female was arrested in Prince Albert on August 13.
37-year-old Priyanka (one name only) from Prince Albert is charged with:
- one count, careless use of a firearm, Section 86(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, transferring firearms without authority, Section 101(1), Criminal Code.
Prince Albert CRT continues to investigate. The two firearms depicted in the video were recovered.
Investigators believe this firearm possession incident is isolated in nature. We share this both to reassure the public of safety, as well as ensure misinformation is not being shared.
