On February 11, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team (CRT) obtained a search warrant and searched a residence on James Hill Road in Regina as part of an ongoing investigation. Regina Police Service SWAT assisted.

Officers located and seized more than 400 pharmaceutical-style tablets, about 30 grams of unknown powders that will undergo further testing, ammunition and trafficking paraphernalia.

Four individuals were arrested at the residence.

As a result of continued investigation, 31-year-old Emmanuel Jacob is charged with:

- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking (hydromorphone), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;

- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code; and

- two counts, possession of a weapon contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code; and

- one count, failure to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code.

Emmanuel Jacob is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on April 8, 2026. Please note that the court information was recently signed, thus the delay in reporting on this investigation.

Another male arrested was wanted on warrants from Regina Police Service. The other two individuals were released without charge.

The investigation continues.

Regina Police Service, Moose Jaw Police Service and the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Yorkton Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team, Regina Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation Unit and White Butte Detachment assisted with this investigation.
