Fentanyl and cocaine seized by Yorkton STRT during drug trafficking investigation

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Yorkton Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team (STRT) – assisted by Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team – seized fentanyl and cocaine during a drug trafficking investigation in Yorkton, SK.
On March 23, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP’s Yorkton STRT and Critical Incident Response Team arrested an adult male at a hotel parking lot on 7th Avenue North in Yorkton as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Following the arrest, officers obtained a warrant and searched a room inside the hotel. During the search, officers located and seized approximately 616 grams of cocaine, 100 grams of fentanyl, a sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia.
As a result of continued investigation, Sudhir Sudhir from Mississauga, ON, is charged with:
- one count, trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code.
Sudhir Sudhir appeared in Yorkton Provincial Court on March 24, 2026.
