Fentanyl and prohibited firearm seized by Saskatchewan RCMP’s SERT during drug trafficking investigation

Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Team (SERT) – with the assistance of White Butte RCMP – arrested a male after illicit drugs and a prohibited firearm were seized at a residential property in Regina, SK.

On March 9, 2026, Saskatchewan RCMP’s SERT and White Butte RCMP obtained and executed a search warrant at a residential property on Gordon Road in Regina.

During a search of the residence and a vehicle, officers located and seized approximately 182 grams of cocaine, 520 grams of fentanyl, 748 grams of methamphetamine, a prohibited firearm, a prohibited firearm magazine, ammunition, a sum of cash, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. An adult male was arrested at the residence.

21-year-old Jaideep from Regina is charged with:

• one count, trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(1), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
• one count, possession of the proceeds of crime over $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
• one count, unsafe storage of a prohibited firearm, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
• one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88, Criminal Code;
• one count, possession of a prohibited firearm, Section 91(1), Criminal Code; 
• one count, possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition without license/registration, Section 95(1), Criminal Code; and
• one count, unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon, Section 91(2), Criminal Code.

Please note that Jaideep has only one name.

Jaideep appeared in Regina Provincial Court on March 23, 2026.
