UPDATE: Rosetown RCMP on the scene of serious collision on Highway #7

On March 26, 2026 at approximately 1:15 p.m., Rosetown RCMP received a report of a collision between two vehicles on Highway #7, just west of Harris.
Officers responded along with local fire and EMS. Investigation determined that a van and an SUV had collided on the highway.
The driver and a passenger of the van were declared deceased by EMS at the scene. They have been identified as a 33-year-old female and 37-year-old male from Saskatoon. Their families have been notified. A second passenger in the van was transported to hospital by ambulance with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
The driver and passenger of the SUV received treatment for minor injuries and serious injuries respectively and were transported to hospital by ambulance.
Rosetown RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.

Rosetown RCMP are currently on the scene of a serious collision on Highway #7, just west of Harris. As this investigation is in preliminary stages, we do not have additional details to share at this time.
The highway is currently closed for an undetermined amount of time. Detours are in place and motorists should expect delays in the area. Please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
