ARRESTED: Kindersley RCMP asking the public to report sightings of Jeffrey Proteau

Alberta RCMP arrested Jeffrey Proteau on May 4 near Consort, Alberta. He is scheduled to appear in Red Deer Provincial Court on May 15, 2026 on charges laid in Alberta. He will then be transported back to Saskatchewan for court on his charges laid by Saskatchewan RCMP. Details are to be determined.

Background

Kindersley RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of 30-year-old Jeffrey Proteau. 

Jeffrey is wanted on warrant by Kindersley RCMP for charges including fail to comply and breach of conditional sentence order. 

Jeffrey is described as:

• Height: 5 ft 7 in 
• Weight: 220 lbs
• Eye colour: green
• Hair colour and style: short, brown
• Other descriptors: full beard, multiple tattoos on both arms, teardrop tattoo on right side of face, tattoo on right side of neck.

Jeffrey is known to travel to the following areas:

• Eston
• Coleville
• Kindersley

Kindersley RCMP continue to investigate.
