Beginning April 7, multiple areas of the province experienced winter weather conditions that continued throughout the evening, including freezing rain, wind, and snow.
From 3:00 p.m. April 7 to noon April 8, Saskatchewan RCMP responded to 78 collisions all across the province. These include motor vehicle collisions, vehicles in the ditch, and other traffic hazards.
Saskatchewan RCMP are not aware of any serious injuries or fatalities related to these incidents.
While weather conditions are improving today, it’s important that motorists continue to check the forecast before heading out. If poor road conditions exist or are forecasted, please delay travel if possible.
