White Butte RCMP charged a youth after receiving a report of threats made on a social media platform.
White Butte RCMP received the report on April 14, 2026. Investigation determined the online posts were made by an individual with an address in White City, SK.
On April 17, 2026, officers with Saskatchewan RCMP’s White Butte Detachment and Regina Serious Crimes Unit, and the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit, executed a search warrant at a residence in White City.
Officers arrested a male teenager. We are unable to identify the teenager as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
As a result of investigation, the teenage male is charged with:
- one count, counselling to commit an offence, Section 464(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, uttering threats, Section 264.1(1), Criminal Code.
He made his first court appearance in Regina on April 20, 2026. (Information #Y409091.)
