Prince Albert CRT charge two after seizing cocaine, firearm from vehicle

Two men have been charged after cocaine and a firearm were seized during a traffic stop.
As a result of proactive investigation, Saskatchewan RCMP's Prince Albert Crime Reduction Team conducted a traffic stop in Prince Albert on April 30, 2026. The driver and passenger were both arrested without incident. About 168 grams of cocaine, divided into bags, cash, and a cellphone were seized during a search of the vehicle’s passenger. Officers also seized a loaded sawed-off firearm while searching the vehicle.
As a result of continued investigation, 18-year-old Landon Saccucci and 18-year-old Adam Braun, both from Warman, are charged with:
- one count, possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), Section 5(2), Controlled Drugs and Substances Act;
- one count, possession of restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammo without license/registration, Section 95(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, Section 91(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of firearm in motor vehicle, Section 94(1), Criminal Code;
- one count, unsafe storage of firearm, Section 86(2), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, Section 88(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession of firearm with tampered serial number, Section 108(1)(b), Criminal Code.
Adam Braun is additionally charged with:
- one count, possession of a weapon contrary to order, Section 117.01(1), Criminal Code; and
- one count, possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized, Section 92(1), Criminal Code.
Both males appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on May 1, 2026.
