Stanley Mission RCMP arrested three individuals in connection with four assaults

On April 30, 2026, at approximately 10:15 a.m., Stanley Mission RCMP received the report of a seriously injured 26-year-old male with stab wounds at a medical clinic.

While at the clinic, police officers received the report of second victim in a house on Charles Street in Stanley Mission. Police attended the house and located a 29-year-old male with stab wounds described as serious. He was transported to the medical clinic. Two additional victims arrived at the medical clinic separately: a 52-year-old male and a 35-year-old male.

Police officers investigated and determined the four assaults occurred at a second house on Charles Street. No risk to public safety has been identified.

Three of the four victims have been transported to Saskatoon and La Ronge hospitals with serious non-life-threatening injuries. 

As a result of police investigation, Stanley Mission RCMP officers arrested two males and one female in connection with the four assaults.

Thirty-one-year-old Dillon Sewap, 26-year-old Thomasina Sewap, and 29-year-old Logan Anthony Wood have each been charged with the following:

  • one count, forcible confinement, Section 279(2), Criminal Code;
  • one count, aggravated assault, Section 268(2), Criminal Code; and
  • one count, robbery, Section 344(1)(b), Criminal Code.

Dillon Sewap and Thomasina Sewap are scheduled to appear in court in La Ronge on May 4, 2026.

Logan Anthony Wood, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large, remains in hospital. The date and location of his court appearance have not yet been determined.

All three arrested individuals remain in police custody.
