Wakaw and Humboldt RCMP: two arrested, two wanted after break-ins at residential properties

From April 27 to April 29, 2026, Wakaw and Humboldt RCMP received reports of multiple break and enters into residential properties in the Rhona Lake and Wakaw Lake areas. Items stolen included a truck, boat, boat trailer, power tools, yard tools, diesel, cash, and more.
Police officers investigated and located the stolen truck at a residence in Middle Lake, SK. On April 30th, 2026, a search warrant was executed at the residence, multiple stolen items were recovered and two individuals were arrested. As a result of the investigation, two additional suspects were identified.
As a result of the continued investigation, 44-year-old Devin Nasby from Middle Lake, SK, 29-year-old Samantha Misponas from Middle Lake, SK, 32-year-old Brett Lariviere from Prince Albert, SK, and 33-year-old Starla Naytowhow from Prince Albert, SK are all charged with:
- one count, property obtained by crime over $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
- one count, property obtained by crime under $5,000, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code.
Devin Nasby and Samantha Misponas will appear in Humboldt Provincial Court on June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Wakaw and Humboldt RCMP are asking the public to report sightings and information on the whereabouts of Brett Lariviere and Starla Naytowhow, who both have warrants issued in relation to this investigation.
Brett Lariviere is described as:
- Height: 5’3
- Weight: 120 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair: short, brown
Starla Naytowhow is described as:
- Height: 5’4
- Weight: 150 lbs
- Eye colour: brown
- Hair colour: brown
Wakaw and Humboldt RCMP are working to obtain a photo of Starla Naytowhow.
