Yorkton RCMP asks public to report sightings of Duncan Highway

On May 14, 2026, at approximately 7:05 p.m., Yorkton RCMP received a report of an escaped prisoner.

Investigation determined the prisoner, who is serving a sentence at the Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre, was last seen at the facility May 14 at 6:15 p.m. A black GMC Terrain SUV was seen picking up Duncan Highway after he left Whitespruce Provincial Training Centre.  

Since receiving the report, Yorkton RCMP have been searching for the prisoner, checking places he is known to frequent and following up on information received. 

As a result of continued investigation, 34-year-old Duncan Highway is now charged with one count, being unlawfully at large, Section 145(1), Criminal Code (Information #90642505).

Officers continue searching for him and ask the public to report all sightings and information on his whereabouts, or information on the black SUV.

Duncan Highway is described as approximately 6’ 1” and 178 lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen in black clothing.

We are working to obtain a photo of him.

He has connections to Saskatoon, but his current whereabouts are unknown.
