Male charged after assaulting Beauval RCMP

Beauval RCMP charged an adult male after he assaulted officers and damaged a police vehicle.
On June 8, 2026 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Beauval RCMP received a report of a male causing a disturbance at a residence in Beauval.
Officers responded and determined an altercation occurred between the male and a group of individuals at the residence. During the altercation, the male damaged a door. He later left the property.
Shortly after, Beauval RCMP received a report that the same male had damaged a police vehicle parked outside a residence in Beauval. The male was located and arrested.
During the arrest, the male threatened and assaulted the responding police officers.
As a result of continued investigation, 28-year-old Andrew Aubichon from Saskatoon is charged with:
- one count, resist/obstruct peace officer, Section 129(a), Criminal Code;
- one count, assault on police officer, Section 270(2), Criminal Code;
- two counts, mischief under $5000 – damage to property, Section 430(4), Criminal Code;
- one count, mischief over $5000 – damage to motor vehicle, Section 430(3), Criminal Code;
- one count, uttering threats against a person, Section 264.1(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
- one count, fail to comply with probation order, Section 733.1(1), Criminal Code.
