Stanley Mission RCMP charged one individual after rocks were thrown at vehicles, injuring one person.
On June 11, 2026, at approximately 7:40 a.m., Stanley Mission RCMP received multiple reports of an individual throwing rocks at passing vehicles on Highway #915, near the junction with Highway #102.
Officers attended and arrested a suspect without incident. Seven vehicles sustained damage, and one of the vehicle’s drivers was transported to hospital by EMS for injuries described as non-life threatening in nature.
26-year-old Harris Cook from Stanley Mission was charged with:
- one count, assault causing bodily harm, Section 267(b), Criminal Code; and
- seven counts, mischief under $5,000, Section 430(4), Criminal Code.
Cook was also arrested on multiple warrants from Stanley Mission RCMP for failing to comply with court-ordered conditions.
Cook is scheduled to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on June 12, 2026.
